Hi im installing a projector and about 10ish meters away i want a wall plate with vga and composite video connections.

Most of these come with soldering connections. My soldering skills are fairly good but how difficult is this. I would probably need to buy a new soldering iron because the one i have isn't the smallest.

Would it possbily be cheaper to order a base plate with the cable already attached. Does anyone know any suppliers that do this??

If i went down the route of soldering would you just buy a 15m vga cable and cut off one end??

I'd be inclined to talk to someone like Allcables in Cork Street (http://www.one-source.ie/), they make up cables to spec so they might be able to help you out.
