I am very concerned about the dangers of amalgam to a small minority of people who may react more strongly than others to the toxic chemical mercury. As someone who suffers from a neurological illness I value the contributions of anyone who has opinions and links to data concerning this topic. This site is an invaluable resource for people like me and access to opinions be they expert or other concerned and interested posters give us a chance to evaluate the available data.

The previous thread on the subject is no longer operable but as it contains links to interesting data I'm including a link to it so that those interested can easily review information contained.

I look forward to reading more commentary regarding peoples opinions and links to scientific data on the subject.

I understand your concerns and have no problems with this topic being under discussion on this forum. I understand as a Fibromyalgia sufferer you are concerned with mercury toxicity and have every right to seek out information.

I unfortunately had to lock that thread due to one posters actions, if we start again can everyone (including me) keep it civil, don't slag off the dentists they are doing what they think are patients best interests for oral health, their exposure to mercury vapor is a lot higher due to their working conditions so it behoves them to now a thing or two about this topic. Read the charter please also.
