Somebody has read the last issue of "Empire", its 2Oth anniversary, with Spielberg as guest main editor ? I think it was brilliant, and i read it nearly entirely. I read Empire on a faithful basis in Ireland, since I came to this country (I am French), and found it very interesting with - most often - great reviews. Sadly, there is NO Irish equivalent.... No Irish magazine focusing on cinema. So we have no option but to read the British ones, Empire or Total Films. Maybe it would be time to create one, one from Ireland, no ? :)

I'm tempted to say two decades of stupid lists and shallow features. But won't :)

I stopped reading Empire a few years ago as their site has pretty much everything in the mag and the forum is great but I bought the 20th anniversary one purely because of the Spielberg feature and the photoshoot in the middle with actors recreating their most famous movies, the pic of Hopkins and Foster together is great

I bought it because of Spielberg being guest editor. It was a good read, especially the piece on Jackson & Del Toro.
OP, there is an Irish magazine called Click which has a comprehensive movie section.

yes, this was an interesting issue. I liked the features on Cameron and Ackerman, and the director questionnaires were good.
