    Hi,

    I'm moving to england and buying a car over there. Not too sure what to get, ive seen a 3 series coupe '04 that i like. Just wondering would anyone know what would be better to buy in terms of resale value, the 04 BMW or maybe an 06 Astra or Golf or something? I will more than likely trade it in when i come back to Ireland.

    Also does anyone know what sort of reduction you can expect to get off a dealer when paying cash?

    a BMW with high spec, leather, climate control, sroof, nice alloys, etc.. would be more desirable when re selling in Irl.
    Remember an Astra is Vauxhall in UK making it difficult for resale.
    AFAIK Uk dealers dont give big discounts, but everyone loves a trier !
