    hi
just wondering does anyone have any advice. i bought a new mattress a few months ago, it cost me €500. I have been waking up every night roasting hot, and cant get back to sleep. there is a pillow top layer sewn onto the mattress on both side. when buying it I pacifically said i wanted a mattress that wont let me get to warm. So i cant bring it back as its been to long and stuck with this, any advice is there away of putting something on the mattress to stop the heat radiating?

    thanks

If the pillow top is on one side, you could try turning the mattress as the otherside should be cooler

Bleurgh, I have this problem with a memory foam mattress too. I've got a really thick mattress protector on top and it helps a bit. Other than that, we just use a really light duvet.

my mattress is not a memory foam one, I believe they roast you, I feel for you.

its because of the pillow top which is attached to the mattress. I will try the mattress protector and a lighter quilt. see how it goes. cheers

Our memory foam has 2 sides, a winter side and a summer side, you flick it over and its a lot cooler.
