Anyone have one of these warranties?

Im getting a new lens and having worked to get the money together I can't see why I wouldn't get it covered. However, at only E40, it looks a bit suspect?
Is it a scam or am I just over cautious?

I have a MACK warranty on my 16-35mmL, I'm sure that there are other people that have these warrenties as well.

I got it from Kea-photo and I haven't ever had any problems with it.

How much is the lens? I think my warranty is 5 yrs

If you do a google search, you'll read articles from -"they're brilliant" to "they're not worth the paper they're written on".

I guess they're great, as long as you don't have to claim. :D They give you a comfort factor.

It would be interesting to hear from someone who's had to actually make a claim though.

i had a mack warranty on my 20D, when the shutter failed after 2 1/2 years they covered it being repaired in full. all i had to do was get the receipt from Canon and send it off to Mack who paid up really quickly
