Hi folks. In antwerp, just saw a lovely ring in joaillerie du centre. The price he quoted in the emails for this ring was 1553 white gold asscher .66c D vs2. I was hoping that i could get it vat free with cash but before i even mentioned i had cash he told me the price he had quoted me was the vat free price and he could not go any lower. Anyone have any advice? Is it normal for the jewellers here to quote vat free prices? How much of a haggle will i get out of him? Leaving tonight so need help asap. Thanks.
