    Hey,

I am looking to get my 4x4 branded, keeping it fairly light but I would like someone to put a bit of time and effort into it. I have been quoted some ridiculous prices, was hoping to keep it fairly low with the market the way it is.... Does anyone know where you could get it done? I am in Dublin.

    Cheers

I've used Vision too (as has R.O.R iirc), very good at what they do.

I know a girl who works at this job in Tullamore. She'd also do it privately if you wanted - maybe a bit cheaper than goin through the business. PM me if you want more details

Never used Vision, but there work seems fairly good.

I use Autoflair (www.autoflair.ie) as they are very local to me, very, very good application but you pay for the quality.

Adventure Signs (http://www.adventuresigns.ie/) do some of our vans but that's through another part of the business. They are fairly simple graphics and look good, but I've no idea of pricing.

I used 3Rock (http://www.3rocksigns.ie/)once - quality of the work was high and pricing was fairly reasonable, but the service wasn't the best so I only used them the once.

Depending on how simple you want to keep it, you can buy DIY kits at Easons (next to their high end printer paper and labels), that allow you to print your own design.

Thanks a million for all the replies.... I am in Dublin City Centre and live South of that. I would appreciate it if those who offered contact details would pass them on.

I was hoping to only spend around €200 for it, big logo on the bonnet with some text, logos on the drivers and passenger door with some text and then logo and text on the back.

I was quoted €250 from a crowd in Bray who I dont know, and then €800 from another crowd in Clondalkin!

I love my car, so I dont want to end up with a hideous design on it but then I dont want to spend a fortune!

Basically I have champagne taste on a beer budget.... Can anyone advise further?

The only further advice I can give is that you tend to get what you pay for. If someone's doing it cheap then they will use a crap make, 3 yr vinyl and slap it on leaving bubbles and it may peel using a pressure washer.

If you pay to have it done right, they'll use a 7 year 3M vinyl and make sure it's applied properly.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
