    I'm a bit lost...
and not really shore what I should wear around any more for instance.
I'm walking around in baggy hoodies not so much baggy jeans but loose fitting, skate trainers... and the same hair cut I've had since I was 16

I need to refine it some what and get a more mature style and put the hoodies away..

What do dudes wear who tend to apear pretty casual insted of hoodies...?
I don't really dig the rivier Island stuff or jack jones its a bit not me.

Kind kicks I wear are dc's osirus Nike dunks etc... Im looking for cloths that are a little bit more mature, but are a bit more individual and mature looking at times...

Then my hair cut :mad:its driving me mad.... Ive had the same hair cut since I was 16 which id have to post a pic. I'm a bit reluctant to do so but its a i dunno what you call its cut fringe in the air style one....

Any One with any pointers to how i can make my image a bit more funky in the summer I wear short sleave shirts with a t shirt under them and jeans and kicks but its the hoodys I need to get rid of them for good...

    thanks :o

Start wearing cool t shirts that fit well, but maybe a bit more left of field than topman!

There are some good sources in the tshirt shop upstairs in the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre on the second floor, and the new tshirt shop on Liffey Street. Also check out the very funky store on South William Street which sells everything from surfboards to trainers to tshirts and hoodies at reasonable prices.
Don't go for products that have their logo emblazoned in huge writing all over them. Wear polo shirts under regular tshirts, tshirts over short sleeve shorts, and light cardigans.
Start growing some light facial hear and pick up some trendy glasses if you wear them. This is what I'm doing at the moment but I don't know if it's actually trendy or completely ridiculous! Not everyone can pull off facial hair.

As for the haircut, look at guys with the same facial shape as you and see what works. Don't go for anything with a lot of spikes or that could be a piece of art; the less fuss the better because you'll use less product in it and it woun't be as much of a drag to maintain. I really think your hair is the one part of you that shouldn't look like you've put much effort into.
Foundation, just off Aungier St are pricey but offer good advice on what suits your hair if you're still not sure

Hi there, Typing this in work so gonna stick in some advice I gave in other threads as I don’t have alot of time!!

Some good shops...Pepe Jeans - great for jeans, shirts and sometimes tees
....All Saints - great for unusual 'going-out' pieces
....River Island - have youngish stuff but also have a great shirts, jumpers, polos, suits section (just ignore all the super trendy 'band' clothes)

Other than that maybe check French Connection and the Matthew Williamson range of tees in H&M is lovely.

Try a cool tee with a solid coloured shirt open over it. Topman do a very good range(although I’m not a big fan of that shop anymore)...like this... http://www.topman.com/webapp/wcs/sto...8681&langId=-1 You can tie in the colour of the shirt with some detail in the tee. You can also accessorises by picking a small detail colour from the print in the tee for your belt or laces in your runners (works with plain black skater runners mostly )

As for jeans...I swear by Pepe Carnaby and Pepe Jinho. The Carnaby jean is boot cut and although expensive (€97 -€115) they wear really well and seem to look better with age.

What colouring dot you have...eyes, skin, hair? Also what height and bodytype are you?

Hey thanks for the reply I'm not really kean on that sort of stuff river island and top shop are just to high street and every where you look people have it...
my t-shirts are not really the problem its more what to wear instead of a hoody Ive got 9 hoody's and two zippy up ones thats my wardrobe I need to have some nice styled tops more then anything... else...

I can't afford pepi stuff tho i have a place where i buy jeans online which are loose not into the hole boot cut thing its a bit out date for me avvrage cut with the right trainers stops that... French connection I just can't afford I'm more or less budget shopper. with tk max ebay etc as my shopping aid's..

I can dress well but I loose it when i put a hoodie on which just makes me look like a 12 year old if you get me? i wanna find stuff really to replace the hoodie, but still pull of my image. which other wise if i do say so my self its pretty funky...:)

ive got blue eyes variable to gray. hair mouse to blonde that very suffer like blonde in the summer height 6.1 skinny with very broad shoulders eggy shaped face to a degree very pronounced cheek bones...

The good thing about Pepe's carnaby jeans are that although they are bootcut the rest is loose too so it doesn't look outdated. Try the Jinho ones...slightly baggy but not 'sk8r baggy'!! I know they are expensive but it is worth investing in good jeans. You should try the kildare village outlet mall as there is a Pepe there too...as well as an All Saints...big discounts to be had :D

I do not like Topman but they do a good inexpensive casual shirt very often which can be thrown over a tee and left open to replace a hoodie.

Seeing as you are tall and slim would you consider a cardigan? I don't mean that one that all the indie boys are wearing...how about one that is half way between a hoodie and a cardigan...you know like made of light wool?

Seriously try All Saints...it is expensive but like I said try the Kildar Village shop!! They often have funky, unusual alternatives to hoodies. You could also look on ebay for them.

As for your hair...why not try a mussy, messy surfer style? It sounds like it would suit your look.

Be careful of facial hair...a goatee can make a long narrow face appear longer. But a bit of stubble looks hot on most guys imo!

emm, dunno i think hoodys are pretty cool and im 32!! ok the baggy ones belong on kids but try g star or all saints ones. there slim fitting and look good over a cool t shirt or layed with a shirt!!

although top man can be a bit kiddish also, you can pick up a few nice things there, the fit is great if you are slim but forget it if you are of a bigger bulid!!! Also they alwas have a sale rack and you can get stuff for very cheap!!

i go for a slim to skinny jeans as they also are more mature looking than baggy ones, but not skinny tight fit cause you just look like a kid again!!! no offence to bootcut wears but there little out dated although i have noticed some flares on the way back!!! fashion huh:rolleyes:

if you gona go for slimmer jeans dont wear skate sneakers as they will make your legs look chicken, canvas pims are good or converse!!!

If you can afford it try get some of the fitted jackets going around. gstar have really nice ones but they can sometimes be a bit to showey-off with the name on them. But a fitted jacket, maybe one of the combat style ones would work well with what you already wear. Try a navy or a dark grey instead of a black. Pepe jeans and topman have good ones.

As for the hair, go into a decent hairdressers and ask. Ozlo in georges street arcade are good for funky styles and stuff, and they will listen to what your concerns/wants are
