    Hi folks, hopefully you can help..

    I'm looking for a good laptop, that's both fast running programs and the internet, and is reliable and will last.

    i've been checking online and in places like pc world, but i've no idea where to start. my budget is about 400, but i could stretch to 500 (to open out the options).

    i guess i'd like plenty of RAM and a decent processor... but i dunno where to start.
