Could someone give me an idea of what a fair price would be for a 2006 Mercedes CLS 320 CDI, full spec, bigger type wheels, irish car from new, 30,000 miles, might buy it if the price is right, what do you think it would be worth?

    Cheers

Looking at carzone they are asking between €38k to €45k so that should give you a ballpark idea. I reckon there should be plenty of room for negotiation though considering that these type cars are difficult to shift in the current climate.

So do you think 34k would be a good deal for one?

I'd lowball in at 30k and go from there. I used to use carzone as a barometer myself but since you see even the lowest price example of any particular car languishing on the site for a few months it appears clear that these cars must be selling a good few quid lower than that. Incidentally, you could consider a CLS350, not much more to tax and you could probably pick one up for a good 5-7k less.

Beautiful car by the way, go for it :pac:
