Building a carport

    Hi folks

I want to build a carport onto the side of my house (5m x 2.6m) - pebble-dashed wall on the house, standard wood 'garden wall' on the other, with concrete posts. Most of the DIY plans and instructions mention using wooden beams for the uprights and rafters.

I plan to use metal uprights (they are slimmer in profile than wood) but where can I get these ?

The roof will be wood-framed with sheets of polycarbonate.

    Thanks,
    Frank

Id think ur local metal fabricaters would make them up for you if u gave them the dimensions you wanted.
