is this the first series or the lot from the start? how many episodes are there as i've only started now and think it's been 2 weeks. have i missed 2 much??

btw, feel like a rant cos while i love digiplus repeated recordings options etc, the show is on every nite same time bar wednesdays so fecks it up! :mad:

its been on for about six weeks on BBC. its halfway through season two. there was a two week gap between season one and two. i couldnt wait so borrowed the dvds. halfway through season three now.

Bro start from the beginning and say goodbye to your life as you know it for a few weeks/months. I didnt believe the hype at the start but it IS that good!!

I've not seen the 1st two series of this but Sky +'d the episode from yesterday..

Would i be able to start watching from yesterday or should i rent out the boxsets for the 1st 2 series?

I missed THE WIRE first time around and only started watching it on BBC2 a couple of months ago. I have to say I really enjoyed the first two series. Watched the first episode of Series 3 last night and will tune in again tonight. Wonderful series.

Not of the wire as such. There is a book by David Simon called "Homicide A year on the Killing Streets" which is basically about Baltimore homocide detectives and the cases they are trying to solve. I'm halfway through and its quite engrossing
