Severe Acid Reflux

Hey guys I suffer from sever acid reflux, to the point where it has coroded my teeth to look like transparent glass. I had the nissen fundoplication done last Xmas. Just wondering if anyone has had a similiar procedure. I'm now back on protium and awaiting another meeting with the specialist because the reflux has not stopped.

Does anyone know of any other reasons that this could be so bad. Would chronic stress have anything to do with it?

We really cannot allow speculation here in this forum as to what your continued acid reflux may be caused by - all I can really say is that you need to be persistent and keep bothering your consultant until such time as they diagnose whatever it is that is causing the continued reflux.

Once you have received a definitive diagnosis- please come back here and let us know what it is- and I am sure there are others here only too happy to discuss their experiences with you (in a non-medical manner).
