hi guys, i'm trying to get rid of my father's old car. its a lovely and clean 1988 300SE. Only problem is i don't know which one of the fifty car sites would suit. trying to do this without spending too much either so the cheaper the better.

    any ideas?

Seeing as Carzone gets the most traffic (I'm pretty sure), if it's only €40 for a month to get it shifted I don't see why not, I had the same problem with adverts and it just wrecked my head after a while. Didn't have the car on Carzone a week before it was bought.

donedeal @ € 3 is good ;pay by phone no credit card necessary.
also free entry at the monent at belgardauctions.ie. This car might make good money at auction
and if it s not taxed auction crowd will collect it for you (for a fee)

I have seen a lot of Mercs on www.classiccarsales.ie
This seems to be a specalist type website so not to sure what kind of sales they get.
Someone also told me to watch www.gumtree.ie I believe it's free to advertise there so nothing to lose.
i'm on the hunt for a classic at the moment but am waiting to see what's for sale at the shows around the country.:)

carzone.ie seem to be the leaders, typcial day would be 1.3million to 1.5 million page views
donedeal.ie have about 1 to 1.1 million page views per day, but just remember they sell boats, guitars, toilet paper etc.
so to settle to arguement carzone are definitely the most viewed site for cars.
buyandsell are about 20,000 pvs per day, cause their website is **** i imagine.

why is it the most expensive is most popular????!!!
