How to calculate hourly wage?

I am switching from my full time salaried position to an hourly as-needed position within the same company for three months this summer (work is very slow...would be mutually beneficial for many reasons).

Later this week my MD and I will agree an hourly wage for my services this summer. I believe that my status within the company would not change, as in I would still be an employee with my employer paying PRSI, though this may not be the case. I'm interested in feedback on ballpark hourly rates that would be reasonable.

My salary is €76k, though was at €95k earlier this year prior to across the board cuts. Logically this points to around €36/hour. However I'm billed out at €1,700/day, or over €200/hour. I will likely be working approximately one day a week for those three months.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
