    AOR Surfboards in association with Bowlers Toyota Killarney will be running an Expression Session surfing event in Castlegregory on Sunday the 7th of June to celebrate the launch of aorsurfboards.com

    First prize will be a custom AOR surfboard worth €600 and there will be plenty of other spot prizes. Everyone who enters will receive a prize.

    Alan O'Riordan is a gifted surfer and shaper who has been making boards for the last 15 years. His speciality is parabolic wooden railed surfboards.

    This event has been rescheduled for Sunday the 14th of June due to lack of swell. Another call will be made on Thursday the 11th of June.

    This will co-incide with an Irish Slalom Series windsurfing event in Castlegregory on the same weekend. If there's no wind on the sunday I'll pop along and see what the craic is :)

    Yep, and as flat water is best for slalom I imagine the windsurfers will be headed where there are no waves anyway, possibly on the other side of the peninsula. Might be worth getting in touch with the ISS organisers though, just in case. Best of luck, might see you down there.

    This event is going to take place on Inch Beach this Sunday the 14th of June. Registration closes at 10:00am sharp.
    Prize giving in Sammys bar afterwards.
