Triax 90cm dish and 0.2db LNB and you will definitely be OK

    managed to find it...
    got 9e and 13e with a monoblock

Ditch the monoblock and use a pair of 10 Euro LNBs and 4 way Diseq switch. Even better reception.

Actually Im trying tonight (65cm dish in Antrim) and not having much luck.

seems to be something just west of Hotbird but its pretty weak.

Im particularly interested in the transponder 11843 V According to Lyngsat the signal strength at my location should be 49dBw equating to a dish size "55-65 cm"

    Mike

If it's any help 11843 is one of the weaker transponders with me in Dundalk. The two strongest are 11977 and 12054 84% on my TM 6900 with 1.1 m dish. This is almost as strong as the best I get on Hotbird. 11843 is 76%.

Its an extremely strong bird to receive. Its also one satellite position to be watching in the near future along with the new eurobird 16 at 16east as its going to be used a lot more for services.

The footprint maps would suggest so but my as yet unsuccesful attempts at two location (65cm dish in Antrim 80cm Belfast) to pick it up seem to indicate otherwise ??????? (of course they could also indicate some form of n00bery on my part ?)

I used to be a fan of multi LNB setups but now Im wondering if in the long term motorised is the way to go ?

So has anyone managed it on a smaller (60-65cm dish) yet and if so how does strength compare with Hotbird
