What are jeggings? I'm confused as to whether they are stretchy denim or those leggings with the denim sort of look printed on them. anybody explain?

They're denim. Look just like skinny jeans but with an elastic waist like leggings. Asos and urban outfitters have some nice ones.

I have 3 pairs. They're soooo comfy and can wear them with anything. I wear mine with long vest tops. I think its best to go for the ones that have pockets on the bum of them because they look more like jeans and you can get away with wearing lots of different tops.

Sounds nice are they made of legging material or denim, Could you wear them with shorts?

The good ones are made out of a light denim material. I'm not sure what you mean about wearing them with shorts though? Do you mean shorts over them? or under them?

    Shorts over them?

I'm not too sure to be honest. Suppose you coudl try them first, they might jsut look like you've put a pair of shorts over a pair of jeans because they do look alot like jeans and I think that's the whole point of them. I have 2 blue pairs and a white pair. I got the blue ones from Bershka and the white ones from River Island.

Just had a look at them on ASOS and I'm really not a fan of them at all.

i got a pair of dark denim ones for €30 in river Island. So comfortable to wear casually with flat pumps or dress them up for nightime with stilettos.

    Oh I love my jeggings!

I bought a pair for Stg£35 in Topshop and it was money well spent. They look like skinny jeans but feel like leggings and if you're wearing long tops over them they look better cos the tummy area isnt so bulky.

I think I will buy some more cause they are so comfy and look brilliant

Can people who aren't a size 8 wear them or would they look like those liquid leggings?

I just bought a pair in Vero Moda today, I'm size 12 and I think they look great, if I do say so myself :D

They're just like tight skinny jeans, but as another poster said without the bulk around the waist. I'm wearing them with a long cardigan and flats at the mo, just treat them like jeans

i got myself a pair of these, but mine are incredibly long? usually i wear my leggins kinda 3/4 length, so would it be ok to shorten them or are they supposed to be full length?, by the way you def dont have to be an eight, if you are happy wearing skinnies, then you'd be happy wearing these! the ones i have have the fake pockets and zip, but im much more comfortable covering that part with somthing long!

I'd say given the colour, they wouldn't be as forgiving as black leggings.

So long as your thighs aren't majorly chunky, they should look fine! - same as skinny jeans, really!
