God, i think i may be going blind or something because I'v spent the last hour on the law society site trying to see the link to apply to sit the fe1's and i cannot for the life of me find it!! this is not a good start! :rolleyes: would anyone like to point me in the right direction?

It's a poor enough site all right. Check under "Education" and then "How to become a solicitor".
