does anyonw know what the fail rate for 2nd yr science is?

    em.. so sort of getting worried as i have a desk filled with bio 1, 2 and chemistry notes and things are not looking good?
    if there a high fail rate for biology 1 or 2?

    Quite high for biology I. About 20% of the class, if I recall correctly.

    Definitely not a subject you can cram.

    The failure rate is immaterial. Just study and pass.

    In my year, 63 people failed the Bio 1 exam, and 23 of those people failed the repeat. I'm not trying to scare you but you did ask! I don't know about Chemistry, but the fail rate is definitely lower for Bio 2 because there is more room to waffle.

    If you end up doing a repeat exam, it's not the end of the world, but do actually study for it

    I think for chemistry the pass:fail rate for the repeat was about 50:50 of, IIRC, the 30-40 people who took it.

    Yeah Bio 1 was a bitch! Even though I passed in the summer I thought I was looking at a 2.1 maybe even a 1 and I got like 47!
