Hi does anyone know a cheap enough towing company near dunshaughlin?

My gearbox is giving trouble and i cant drive it, need to get it from dunshaughlin to maynooth tomorrow.

I was quoted 120, does that sound right?
    Thanks.

The first one is listed as a crash repair and also towing service in a local directory.

I remember my mum paying 60 or so at least 8 years ago for a two mile journey, so I'd say yes, that is the going rate if not more.

I'm thinking that Morris Ron Chawke has would do the job nicely!

Pic of same was posted here over the last few days. I'm sure someone will help me out!

I'm taking the piss ever so slightly, there's a car dealer in Meath, just past Ashbourne, that has a Morris converted in to a tow-truck. Not very helpful I'm afraid but I thought readers may appreciate it all the same! ;)

Google 'Kilcock Autos' - they have a recovery service. I used them years ago but dont know their price now.

If the engine runs normal with the car out of gear so you have your lights, signals and more important power steering and breaks working normal just tow it behind another car with a cable. Dunshauglin to Maynooth is only a few miles anyway and if you pick your time right you'll hardly encounter anything.

Hi, its an opel combo van. I was told you can get points on your licence for towing behind another car so ive organised a tow truck to pick it up today, thanks everyone.
