As the title said,I'm looking for advices on what kind of goods,if I import from China, might be sold well here?I'm from China, have been living in Ireland for more than 5years.I am able to source any product in China.

that really is the million euro question!

Only way to establish what would be a great product to import and sell would be to spot a niche in the Irish market, research, market and start selling.

Theres no simple answer to it. You must be able to spot these things yourself, figure out what will or wont work, thats why some folks are rich and successful, and some folks aint.

Everything you need to know is right in front of you - you just have to look.

Best of luck with it all.

Beds for nursing homes - the ones that allow the patient to be automatically adjusted using buttons (like you'd see in a private hospital).

There is a new initiatiive in Ireland (law afaik) that requires all beds to be replaced with these by 2010 (check details somewhere).

Otherwise, something small, light, high worth, non-perishable and in demand.

In my opinion, the hard part is not buying, sourcing or transporting the goods - the hard part is selling the goods through a popular market place that won't squeeze your margins too much.

    Good luck

Korea might be a better place to look right now because their currency is very weak, you can get a lot for your euro.
I know a lawyer who represents some clients in the electronics industry there he's been telling me all the Japanese companies have lost their business to the korean companies which is one of the major reasons Japan is having major drops in their exports, ie. Sony to LG etc
Chinas RMB is pretty strong right now I believe, plus the korean companies have more advanced logistics, or perhaps reliable logistics systems which would make business easier. All comes down to what your importing though of course!

you are going to need to put a lot more effort/research into a business than asking a bunch of strangers on a forum which type of business you should start or you will ultimately fail

theres not a lot of money out there at the moment and the retailers are already fighting over what spare cash is left over so think carefully before making any decisions

have to take more time to think about it,and do some research.where can I find the demand, that is the main thing,I guess.
