    Hello Folks..

I could not find anything like this for Ireland.. So I decided to put a page up on Myspace.

If you want to be added as a friend - Please feel free.

If you want to list your services / presence / existance , you can do so by leaving a comment on the blog for your particular County.

I dont know if there is a Logic Users Group for Ireland - But as far as I can see there is not. If someone knows of something already in existance, please let me know.

I'm certainly not a "Super User" by any stretch of the imagination.. but I would certainly like to give people the opportunity to get together in a loose fashion if they see fit to visit the page every now & then.

Who knows.. A few might get something out of it & if thats the case.. it's a worthwhile exercise! :D

If anyone has Training or any Logic related events that they would like me to put on the Calendar, please message me on the Myspace page www.myspace.com/logicuserslistireland

Maybe a Facebook group would be a better way to go?

    Yup.. Facebook to follow soon.

I just thought of the whole thing last night.. its a case of making the time to get it all done now.

There is obviously lots of Music on Myspace - Lots of Studios & Artists who are using Logic.. So its the natural place to start really.

    I'll be sending you a Friend request Mr.F :)

I'm a recent Logic user but I hate myspace. I trust very little that comes my way on it these days. But I'll join :-)

Pro tools user here. But I have Logic, so I'll join up so I can keep my beady eye on proceedings and maybe learn something...

I'm not a member of myspace.

Would it be allowable to set up the ILUG within Boards?

I always feel that it should become very clear if a sub-forum is ever needed. And there doesn't seem to be cry for one round here just yet :-)

But please post on Logic. I'll be reading!

I added you. But beware about Facebook, there are 3 basic types of user category. Profile, page & group. A profile is what most people have, a page is what you've just set up and groups are what the name implies. Maybe this is different, but people generally join groups quicker than become fans of a page. the same mail from me generated an initial 30 or so members for my page and over 200 for my group. You can't add media as easily as on a group but it's handier for more frequent contact. Just some thoughts, I'll join either way :-)

Make people admins and you'll help spread it too.
