Clothes shops, pharmacies, any restaurants??If you're in North Dublin, there are places in the airport - food places and bookshops and stuff - that sometimes take on summer staff. Occasionally the duty free does too.If you're outside the city a bit, some farms have tomato packing, apple picking, strawberry picking.....Dublin Zoo - shops/restaurants there, turnstile people...
depends on where you're based and what you're willing to do, it's tough enough to find something at the mo

You have to be 18+, 10-year Garda check, full works etc to work in the airport, Landside or Airside unfortunately. Nobody's hiring either way. :(

it really sucks as students we can't get work now. umm might just have to use eu membership and head somewhere else, wonder they hiring in poland:pac:

perhaps these new laws in relation unemployed non-eu people will give us a better chance of getting into jobs but its a double whammy for me anyway because many of the indians i worked with when i was in spar were the soundest people ever.

HMV is one shop! Several shops will employ you, supermarkets too. You're entitled to more break allowances than 18 year olds, which some employers wouldn't be happy about, but most won't care. Stars with supermarkets, then move on to shopping centres if you've no luck.

if you're havin no luck with companies why not prowl your own area with a lawnmower/cleaning supplies? You can clean windows or gutters or offer to cut grass.Be sure to arrange the price with your neighbour before you begin however, they ont be too happy if you are charging 50 for cutting their grass and you dont inform them first. A fiver a garden seems fair enough to me and perhaps a fiver a window/gutter if you go down that road.If you do enough houses you could earn a fair wage.
