retrieving text messages

    Can it be done. Got a text message on my 02 phone bout two months ago and accidently deleted but its of great importance i get it back or even get a record/transcript of it.

    The network won't be able to help you.

    I doubt you'll get a copy off your phone / SIM either as they're not designed for this without specialist equipment - and even then .. .

    Anyways, tell us what phone you have on the off chance someone knows of some application.

    For future use and if it's a Sony Ericsson phone that you have, use My Phone Explorer to archive your messages.

    If the message was saved to the memory card there are file recovery applications (restoration.exe) available, but I don't know how these would recover
    the information in a format you can read on your PC.
