Geothermal & immersion

    Howdy folks.
I am putting in geothermal heat pump but want to put in an immersion if ever the geothermal broke down (I know I shouldn't need it but I'm not the luckiest person!) Anyway my geothermal rep says it'll cost around 700 euro to put a extra coil in for an immersion. Sounds a mighty bit crazy money when immersions are sold for about 20 quid. Can anyone shed any light on this price and any other options I might have to save the bulk of my 700 euro.

    Thanks!

It requires a different hot water cylinder to the one he was originally putting in. 700 is steep though! Im not sure of the prices but thats a large differnce for a slightly different cylinder
