Hi All, I am heading over to the open championship this year to hopefully witness the three in a row for harry. Have any of you guys any tips or websites for accomodation close to the course? After a first search, it looks pretty expensive!

We booked about 3 months ago and couldnt really find anything reasonable near Turnberry. We are staying in a town called Dumfries, its just about an hour from Turnberry as far as I can remember........

yes, everything close to the course is either booked or astronomically expensive. It looks like anything up to an hour of a commute is likely and possibly even glasgow as there is plenty of hotels there
