I have to call a US toll free number later this afternoon (+1866). Could anyone tell me if this is also free from my Irish mobile?

    Thanks.

Nope, a US toll free number is only toll free in the US, assuming it is available outside the states, it will be a normal international calll

Cheers, just got an Irish 1800 I can use. This should be free from an Irish moble right? Or is it just from landlines?

it is free from mobiles, if they have not blocked access from mobiles, which is pretty common.
