    Yippee!!!

    Im am only working part time at the moment, which sometimes gets me down, but not down enough to take a drink! Im off work today so im off to the market now to buy some nice fruit to bake for my nephews first communion tomorrow - 20 months ago nobody would trust me to make the deserts for a thing like this and that is one thing that i really appreciate about sobriety - i am trusted again.

    I read so many threads on here from people who are miserable and want to give up drink so thats why i post updates, just so people can see that it is possible to give up drinking and to have a life.

    Giving up drink is damn hard, but nowhere near as hard as keeing drinking.
