Best commercial 4x4?

    Hi folks -
I'm in the market for a commercial 4x4. I've owned a Nissan Patrol in the past (2000, 3 litre turbodiesel), and had a very bad experience with it.

My main requirement is reliability, relative comfort when driving on-road and ability to tolerate mild offroading (nothing too strenuous, mainly rough tracks, but having a difflock would be helpful for when I do something stupid). Cost of maintenance should be as low as it can be for this type of vehicle (meaning, spare parts are not unusually expensive or hard to get).

Any suggestions? My budget would be around €15k.

    Cheers,
    Peter

Difficult to answer as all our needs are different.

I drive a single cab Toyota Hilux 2.4 turbo diesel.
I drive in fields regularly for work but also find it comfortable, reliable and an excellent off road vehicle.

A short wheel base Toyota Landcruiser wouldnt be a bad choice.
