Cropped or capri pants: Flattering or not?

    What do you think of cropped pants? Are they are good look? My friend thinks they are brilliant but I think they tend to make many women look frumpy because they have the effect of cutting off the legs.

    thoughts? do you wear them?

    Only acceptable if you are tall and worn with heels, and the trousers themselves are tailored rather than loose - otherwise complete frumptastic nightmare.

    I think they're fine, just wear them with a nice top and shoes and you're grand. I don't think they're frumpy at all!

    I'm 19 so I hope I'm not frumpy looking...

    I'm only 5'0 so I don't think height comes into it. Instead of wearing crops/capris I just turn the end of my straight jeans up to just above my ankle and wear them with a little dinky pair of silver half-runners I have. Generally I wear a check shirt or something with it. Looks cool and 'with it'*


    *I'm 'with it' therefore I can say 'with it' :P
