England will obviously win this but it is a big game for the likes of Bresnan and even Bopara who knows the number 3 spot is still up for grabs. Chris Gayle has been very uncomplimentary towards test cricket, it will be interesting to see how he does when he bats. Hopefully the West Indies don’t get hammered to bad and keep it competitive for more than 2 days! :D
    England 36/0

Another hopeless, if not at all surprising day for the Windies.

    England 302-2 at stumps.

On a positive note, they'll probably bat until at least Tea tomorrow meaning WI might be able to keep the match going into a 3rd Day...

Think its fair to assume this will continue until they get their way with the WICB in terms of the outstanding contract issues.

they may as well ahve gone on strike for the tour complete waste of everybodys time

Windies will be following on again. Remains to be seen if Strauss left enough time to bowl them out twice.

If these games are supposed to be a warm up for the Ashes, they haven't been much use for the batsmen to find form. Only two Innings at the crease for England between the two games.

The West Indies are terrible, 7 down in the follow on and need it to rain for the rest for the day to salvage a draw.

Another innings defeat for WI then.

Oh wait no, they only lost the 1st Test by 10 wickets...

The ICC should revoke their test status. I mean the associates would do just as well

They got it to the final day so credit to them for that. :DThis series like the last one was a blight on test cricket when you compare it to the quality that we seen between Australia and South Arica.
Test cricket this year has been anticlimactic apart from the already mentioned South Africa series, the India vs New Zealand series was nothing spretacular and the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka series was well erm....:o

True enough, they could hardly do much worse than WI. Over their last 3 tours to England, they've played 10 games iirc and have lost 9 and drawn 1 (rain-affected too).

Maybe they should let Ireland replace them when it comes to touring there.

Yeah, thanks to a full day's play being completely washed out...:D

I know you are joking, but they are much better than they seem to let on.

They are a couple of players and an attitude change off being a good team.

yep i was only teasing. there probably 2 fast bowlers a number 4 and a set of new contracts and backdated pay from the WICB from being a decent test nation again.

Simmons while a decent ODI player is still struggling to look anything like a test player.
