It's true, I saw a programme on telly and it turns out they fart:P more than those with a mixed diet and pump more Green House gasses into atmosphere. I always knew it was wrong.

Furthermore, if they ate all the delicious cows, they too would be producing less Greenhouse gases. Bastards.

Ya must be joking! Well I certainly bloody well do not. In fact I have the unfortunate company of several male family members that could run boards.ie off their expulsions..that's how goddamn regular and toxic they are.

    Which poses the question:

Should we make the environment better by eating vegetarians?

So they fart like cows because they have the same diet as cows. Mmmm.. Maybe they taste like cows too?

On the other hand livestock produces around 8% of all global greenhouse gas emissions. Livestock production also accounts for 65% of human-related nitrous oxide, which has 296 times the Global Warming Potential (GWP) of CO2.

    And yet I love meat.

    ....and cake.

I saw the title of this thread and thought ''this thread looks irrelevant''. I read the OP and felt so strongly about the irrelevance of the thread I decided to post my feelings on the irrelevance of this thread

This is a gas thread altogether.

Most veggies are girls, and we all know it is physically impossible for a lady to produce a noxious gas....much less expell it as a bottom burp.

Cows alone produce 20% of the methane in the atmosphere and contribute HUGELY to global warming.

If people didn't eat meat, there wouldn't be as many animals as they wouldn't be bred so intensively.

Rice production is an other large source of methane too. So should people not eat rice either?
No more szechuan beef after a feed of Guinness might help to reduce some greenhouse gas emitions. But I don't see it happening :D
