Hi, I am currently building a house. One side of the site is 95m long. Its now fenced with sheep wire, but I intend to plant a Hazel hegde(40-60cm high) inside the fence. I also intend to plant approx 15 trees ( Ash, oak and Alder each 2.5m high) in the hedge. I know it is late in the year to start planting, but is it…

Hi,

I am currently building a house. One side of the site is 95m long. Its now fenced with sheep wire, but I intend to plant a Hazel hegde(40-60cm high) inside the fence. I also intend to plant approx 15 trees ( Ash, oak and Alder each 2.5m high) in the hedge. I know it is late in the year to start planting, but is it possible if they are watered regularly. I would ideally like a years growth while the house is being built. All comments welcome
