Connections are exactly the same. You'll need a postcode for the UK area for your preferred region and just follow the setup instructions in the manual.

Yep, it's all very simple. Here are the connections on the Humax...

The only problem you could have is that the Humax does not have component connections (Red, Green, Blue) unlike some of the older Sky HD boxes (Due to DRM issues). However, if you use a HDMI cable to connect to your TV like most people with Sky HD it is not a problem. :)

Other than that there are no other issues with connections. See here regarding postcodes.

    Hi
Is this link now closed?, I have the same box and was wondering how to add Sky news, and how to switch between the sky box and the Humax with the two lbn feeds without having to swap the two cables.

Do I have to start a new thread for this?

    Thanks for any help

You'll find Sky News in non-Freesat mode but you can't add it to the Freesat EPG.

Go to Menu>Seup>Manual Tune - this will add the non-freesat channels. Then you can alternate between Freesat and Non-Freesat mode where Sky News etc will be. You can edt the Channel list and move it so that Sky News appears top of the list if you wish.
