how are ya folks.. planning a drive around ireland...

    we are going
    dublin to waterford
    waterford to cork
    cork to galway
    galway to donegal
    donegal to derry
    derry to dublin

on the waterford leg im thinking sallys gap? sould this be a good drive?

any other good drives on this leg?

waterford to cork.. dont know any roads down there that are a good drive... any one like to tell me a few?

    cork to galway :)

first we will have to take on molls gap into killarney then up to the ferry over the shannon and then rip through the burren...

galway to donegal.. prob go out clifften up through leenene over the mountin to westport up to ballina and off to donegal..

donegal to derry... any one know some good driving roahs in donegal.. i know a few.. might go up to glen village and then adlantic drive... maybe do knockalla...

then the derry to dublin route we will go the coast road i think...

    Any good roads for me?

When going north from Galway, go through Carrick on Shannon and head for Ballinamore, the road between those two is the best driving road I have driven on in ireland! (its worth the detour if you get a sunny day! and you enjoy driving enthusiasticlly!)

On the coast road in the north east, make sure you do the Torr Head detour along the coast. It's pretty well signposted off the A2
