    Hi all

I was just wondering if anybody knows what the starting salary for an Insurance Sales Executive? I have sales experience but I have never worked in insurance before. Looking for the basic and not the commission if possible.

    Thanks

If it's a tied agent then it would be purely commission based.

I know in the one's I am looking at, there is a salary + Commission + Bonus. I just need to make sure I can afford to move into a new area

I looked at changing career paths there myself (life assurance), was too risky in today's climate for me, basic + commission sounds a better option to be sure, good luck with it.

    hi,

as far as i'm aware, they generally make 20 to 30k basic and then up to 10 k in bonuses if they are call centre based.

i've seen one broker advsertise up to 45k for a sales executive with 2 years experience.
