Yes, yes, I know, this should be posted in Facial hair & Hats but I wanted a broader spectrum of opinion particulary of non-hat wearing folk.
The posters in FH&H will just tell me to buy both. :rolleyes:

Putting aside all question of hats being in or out of date and only suitable for old fogies/young upstarts/men/women/farmers/gangsters and so on just assume that I CAN wear a hat well.

So, which hat should I get? The fedora, more commonplace and everyday perhaps, or the homburg, more evening wear and refined. (Ignore the colour of the pictures, whatever hat I get will be grey.)
Which appeals most to you?

Out of those two styles I like the fedora. The second one just reminds me of a guy I work with who is due to retire this year. (He looks seriously cool in it though!)

in my opinion the homburg is very classy old style hat which would be seen n the upper class lol ...

but the other one looks very new york mob .... but hey whatever look you want eh ....

I'm still undecided. My finger hovered over the mouse button itching to click on the Homburg but they don't have the right colour in my size. Is it fate telling me to get the fedora instead?
I have a feeling I'm just going to buy a Panama for the summer instead. :rolleyes:

The second looks a lot more stylish than the first but both kind of remind me of colder weather.

Like the idea of a panama hat for the summer.
