Its that time again for a new set of tyres for the car.. the old ones served me well so looking to get a decent set again either from here or the UK.

Have Bridgestone 205 x 55 R16's on her at the moment. Not sure what model Bridgestones they are to be honest, need to check that out but I remember the local fast fit quoting me €140 per tyre including fitting last time I was in getting a puncture repair.

I do a bit of mileage over the year, usually around the 15k miles mark even though I dont use the car mid week to commute to/from work so need something that will last a while as dont want to be changing every few months.

So any suggestions for in around the €150 per tyre mark would be good.

I recently used Camskill and found them fantastic. I got 2 Goodyear Optigrip 205/55/16 tyres for £114 delivered all in. I ordered late on a Tuesday night and I had them in my hand before lunch on Thursday. The place where I work is beside a tyre centre and he fit and balanced them for €10 a piece. I would highly recommend their service and prices.

    Have a look on www.camskill.co.uk
You'll get great tyres for that price range. Just find a fitter in your local area to fit them for you on www.eiretyres.com
I saved €400 on a set for my motor

I stuck on a set of Goodyear F1 Asymetric and they have fantastic grip

Another +1 for Camskill, I am as we speak (type) awaiting for 2 Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric to be delivered. €430 for the pair vs €570 from phoning around a few shops, €20 fitting and balancing per tyre still brings them in €100 cheaper than the tyres places in Dublin.

I was looking at the camskill.co.uk site alright and the deals seem good. Just was worried about getting them fitted as I know a lot of tyre places wont touch tyres they wont sell in case they damage them when fitting them and then have to replace em.

I'll have a look and see what I can get price wise over there..

Where did you get them fitted and balanced for E10?

The problem with camskill is their poor selection. Eiretyres have a much bigger selection. I've gotten local guys to match Eiretyres before when pricing, so I don't bother buying on-line. Give them a ball park as to what you can get them for and see how close they get.

I got them done in a place in Navan and just to clarify it was €10 a tyre.
