Hi all, I would like to complete the Ring of Kerry Cycle, 112 miles on 5th July, but am already signed up to do the Tri Athy the following weekend. Do you think I would be mad to do the cycle so close to the triathlon? all advice appreciated

If you're able for the distance, you should be well recovered for the triathlon.

It's a whole week. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Depends on your level of fitness and your goals for Athy.

If you are just aiming to finish Athy and are reasonably fit - then go for it.

If you are looking for a good time its a bad idea.

More importantly Athy is on the 30th of May.
