Got an ipod touch yesterday and would like to connect it to my Onkyo 605 amp. What sort of wire would I need?
    Cheers

Something like this will do fine (try and find a gold plated slightly better one if you can.

If you want to do it right and get your self This and if you want video out to your amp or direct to your tv This

The cradle/dock with the remote really works well and you can have a charger plugged into the base of it permanently.

Get yourself the free iTunes remote app on the app store.

An IPod dock (which you can get for the onkyo) would give you proper access to the line level output from the dock connector at the bottom of the device.

The Stereo to RCA cable will give you access to the post amplification headphone level audio.

Option 1 is better but more expensive if you can do that.
