Reccomend a good 1GB PCI-E Nvidia Card...

    So my Nvidia 8800GTS 512MB card is show its ages these days (have it around 18 months) so any ideas what a good upgrade would be?

    GTX260. Cheap and powerful, and a worthy upgrade from a g92 8800GTS.

    Going ATI yields good results too, like the 1GB 4890.

    +1 on the GTX260, just make sure you get the 55nm version! The old 65nm/192shader units are cheaper but can't touch the newer GPU (even the old 512MB HD4870 beats it sometimes)
