    Hi Guys,

I just wanted to get your opinions on 10k that I have to invest. I know there are a couple of guys here that are good with investment advice. I'm not the best at picking individual stocks. So I want something like below ...

Basically I think I can put this money by for 3-4 yrs.

    I was thinking about ...

    a) A 5% savings account. Safe and secure, low rate of return. Although, I already have a regular savings account and would like to diversify by savings a little. Plus I feel a little uneasy having all my money in Irish banks! Maybe I am just being paranoid.

    b) Oil EFT. I don't know if this is a good idea or not. Oil I believe is at a six month high. Have I missed the boat? On the other hand surely as the world picks up, demand will sore again. But will this happen in the next 3-4 yrs?

    c) Index. Put it all in the Dow, Nasdaq etc. I see there have been gains recently should I choose this anyway as hopefully it will go up alot in the 3-4yrs. Or wait a few weeks expecting a fall again.

    What would you guys do?

    /Steve

ROULETTE TABLE ...put it on RED .... win double your money !!

seriously - savings would be the best option, or consider investing in a startup company theres plenty of budding entrepeneurs (probably spelled wrong) out there that would appreciate a 10K "assist"

Don't do that!! Too risky IMO.

Personally I would put 5k in a savings account, 2k in an oil ETF if the price went below $50 again and wait a few months and average into an equities ETF. Either the FESX or the S&P 500

OP, see the charter, there's no advice given on this forum - just opinions.

If you're seeking some proper advice then seek out an Investment Advisor. If you follow any of the opinions here you do so at your own risk...
