Media player plug in on firefox

    Hi,
    Am really stuck here, I need to get windows media player plug-in installed on firefox on my mac. Everywhere I download it's either for mac osx or firefox but not firefox on a mac. Have tried different players etc. but no joy.
    Any ideas??

    well then i think you are doing something wrong man as i and anyone i know has had no problems with flip4mac

    are you downloading or streaming?

    I can't seem to get to Flip4Mac to work either, at least not for streaming.

    Moderator: Television, Psychology and Dublin County North.

    thats why i asked as i didnt think it was for streaming media only already downloaded stuff but i could be wrong i havnt looked into it that much


    i very very rarely come across a video online that i cant stream with my mac using firefox

    Firefox hates Myspace players, it may hate some streams of video too. I moved to Safari this week, everything works.

    what do you want it to do


    Stream video
    Play video
    Play movies that you have downloaded that are in a windows format

    Must say have found flip4mac excellent
