    I recommend

Investments Analysis and behaviour By Hirschey / Nofsinger

It comes with a free access to standard & poor's COMPUSTAT database and detailed research papers on 1000 companies and financial reports etc..

The book will teach you how to analyze companies and complete calculations etc...

    Only 50 billls.

Getting started in technical Analysis Jack D Schwager.
    It is interesting stuff.
    Only 16 bills

Just to note: That there was a bear trap in the NYSE financials today if anyone noticed ( pick any usa bank ) and although It wasn't a large bear trap it was interesting to observe Market behaviour. We might see a rally tomorrow, It would have panicked the **** out of the bears so they will be jumpy and likely sell weakly at the first sign of trouble.

You're just starting college right? You probably don't want to start in on anything too technical just yet. To get you going - try these ones:

    1) Fortune's Formula - William Poundstone

    2) Reminiscences of a stock operator - Edwin Lefevre

    3) A Random Walk Down Wall Street - Burton G. Malkiel

    Enjoy
