Mascara ads and fake eyelashes

    Is anyone else noticing the obvious use of fake eyelashes being used in mascara ads lately? Ive just seen the new Maybelline ad on telly there and paused it as it clearly used fake eyelashes to enhance the mascara it was advertising. Ive been around the block :D with regards mascara brands but im wising up to their tricks of using falseness to sell their product. Its really beginning to p*ss me off....

    it says on the bottom of the ad usually.
    filmed with alsh extentions.

    if only the mascara really made them look like that

    Yeh thats the thing most of them dont...its soo misleading. I suppose its the same with airbrushing and foundation but i think im just wising up lately to the tricks advertisers are using.

    Thought that myself too... unless you have super long, super thick eyelashes, there isnt a hope theyre gonna look like that!!!

    Have noticed now though that mascara ad's have in tiny writing at the bottom of the screen "styled with lash inserts"........ well duh! :rolleyes:
