    JOJO HYNES

Graduated from Fine Art GMIT in 2005, Exhibited both nationally and internationally, Currently studying Community Art Education Post-Grad in NCAD. My materials have evolved into a mix of media, photography, painting, drawing, film, wall painting and collage. I want to represent the here and now, all too often art is the outsider to everyday life and issues. Community and belonging, notions of place, identity, youth culture and the build environment vs. the natural environment influence my practice. As an artist my interest is rooted in night-time when public places become private spaces for different groups and individuals. the links between the time, the places, the people, and the contrast with mainstream society.

    ED DEVANE

Ed Devane has been: locking-himself-away-from-society-in-various-rooms-full-of-recording- equipment in a: single-minded-pursuit to make: the-sort-of-music-he-would-like-to hear-but-often-doesn't since: age-15.
Thankfully all his work has received some vindication through vinyl and CD releases on a variety of labels both in Ireland and abroad. Ed's livesets generally drop subtlety and basic musical concerns such as melody and harmony in favour of loud heavy rhythms and noise....
