ill have a go off this and we'll see how it goes....

    12/5/09

    2km warmup
    Stretches
    Strides
    12x300m (200 rec)
    3km warmdown

Good session getting fitter they were all 47-48 secs with one 49 thrown in for good measure. Older lads(speed merchants) were nailing their 400s in 65-66 (they did 16) so I joined in at 300 with a few other lads. About a month ago I was hitting them in 50s so can feel the fitness coming along. Goals this year are sub 2.00 800 (PB 2.07) sub 4.15 1500m (PB 4.26) so far I've had three races (2.09,4.31,4.30) but they have all been tactical auld affairs. Saturday running an 800 so we'll see how that goes. ...

Welcome and another great addition to the logs with the shorter stuff.
Best of luck with your goals and having recently ran an 800 race, I now have new admiration for the distance and I think for next year it might be sth I would want to specialise in. Looking forward to this one

Tough session last 1 was a b*tch tho. I'm a lot stronger + faster than last yr. i was doing this session last yr in about 28 for the first 3 and dropping to 30-32 for the last 2 and dying hard for them so the progress is there :D

Sounds like you're in fairly good shape. Do you usually do reps sessions 2 days in a row. I don't know many people who do that. Do you do a morning run in between?
