    hey someone told me that even if you get full marks in your continuous assessment, like 30% if you fail the written exam but still get over 40% overall you still fail the module?

    Yeah applies to some modules, Maths for Scientists I and II works like this I know for sure. Although if you're fairly close to passing the lecturers will let you pass afaik but no strolling the last 10% needed unfortunatly

    It depends entirely on your module. Look it up on moodle or email the lecturer
